Bill LambertPublished Wednesday, October 26, 2005 in the Nevada County PicayuneMr. M.L. Bill Lambert, 86, of Alma, formerly of Prescott, died Tuesday, October 18, 2005, at his home. He was born on January 29, 1917, in Roveline, La., to P.R. and Neva Jenkins Lambert. He was a retired maintenance man with White Oak State Park. He was preceded in death by his wife, Freda Elma Lambert, who died March 1, 1996, and by one son, Emmett Lambert. His survivors include: one son, Charles Lambert and Vicki of Alma; two daughters, Mary French and Carl and Pam, Greer and Bob all of Hensley; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Graveside services were at 10 a.m. Friday, October 21, 2005, at the Bluff City Cemetery in Bluff City with Rev. Bob Shelton officiating. Burial followed. Pallbearers were Pete DeWoody, John DeWoody, Randy Koger, Stan Speight, R.D. Branch and Bobby Morton. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Ron Schlabach and Paul Winborn. Arrangements by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott. Family received friends Thursday, October 20, 2005, from 6-8 p.m. at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.
