Rosa Hunter

Rosa Mae Wells Hunter, 86, of Prescott passed away October 11, 2005, at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Prescott.

She was born on February 15, 1919, near Okolona in Clark County to James B. Wells and Mamie P. Young Wells.

Survivors include: one son, Lenard Ray Hunter and wife, Josephine, of Magnolia; two daughters, Melba Gebhart and husband Tim of Huntsville, Ala., and Debbie Friday and husband, James of Magnolia; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; one brother, Linard ONeal Wells and wife, Doris of Arlington, Texas; two sisters, Mildred Smart of Tucumcari, New Mexico and Faye Smith of Clovis, New Mexico and several nieces and nephews.

Officiating was Rev. Wilborn Wesson. The funeral service was Friday, October 14, at 11 a.m. in the Shackelford Chapel, under the direction of Shackelford Funeral Home. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
