Glendale Brown

Mr. Glendale Brown, 86, of Benton, died Thursday, October 13, 2005, at the Saline Memorial Hospital.

He was born November 1, 1918, in Prescott, to the late William and Bertha Brown. Mr. Brown was a retired welder at Reynolds and a US Navy veteran.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Opal Brown.

Survivors include: sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Karen Brown of Conway, Randy and Kathy Brown of Benton, and James and Elke Joe Brown of Texas; daughter, Barbara Rowan of Benton, brother and sister-in-law, Herman and Bobbie Brown of Prescott; sisters, Florene Williams of Mabelvale, Audrey Biddle of Prescott, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services were at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 15, 2005, at Ashby Funeral Home Chapel with burial at New Rosemont Cemetery. Services were held by Lib Carlisle and Will Bearden.

Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. Friday, October 14, 2005, at Ashbys.

Pallbearers were Richard Rowan, Jeremy Brown, Bob Tedford, Richard Spickard, Dwight Fite, Tom Blackburn, David Ramsey, and Scott Thornhill.
