PHS Media Center To Be Open Every Monday NightPublished Wednesday, September 15, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayunePrescott High School media center will be open to the public for research and reference material beginning Monday, September 20, according to Superintendent Ron Wright. This program will be offered each Monday night from 6:00 to 8:00. All visitors to the center must abide by the guidelines set by the school district. Guidelines for library/media classes will be in effect. An internet agreement must be signed before patrons will be allowed internet use. To insure quality time and use of the facility, any student below the ninth grade must be accompanied by an adult. No transportation will be provided. Newspaper articles have been contributed to the Prescott Community Freenet Association as a "current history" of our area. Articles dated December 1981 through May 2001 were contributed by Ragsdale Printing Company, Inc. Articles June 2001 to ? were contributed by Better Built Group, Inc. Articles ? to October 2008 were contributed by GateHouse Media. Ownership of all Nevada County Picayune content from the beginning of the newspaper, including predecessors, until May 2001 was contributed by the John and Betty Ragsdale family to the Prescott Community Freenet Association.
