PES Coordinator Offers Special Time For Pre-Schoolers

Kelly Jones, parent coordinator of Prescott Elementary School, is once again offering a special time of play, exciting story time, and crafts for parents, grandparents or caregivers and their pre-school aged child (three to five years old) who are in the Prescott School District.

The goal is to give the children who are not enrolled in a pre-school to have the opportunity to share and make new friends while still in the comfort of their parents.

The spring session of the play group will meet every Wednesday for 1+ hours from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. for a six-week period, beginning April 7 and ending May 12.

Space is limited to a first come first serve basis.

There will be no charge for this time of fun and learning for you and your child. Refreshments will also be provided.

The fall session of the play group seemed to be of success, according to Jones.

If you feel that you and your child might benefit from the play group that is being offered at PES, you may go by the parent center, located on the Prescott Elementary School campus between 8 a.m. and 12 noon Monday through Friday to pick up a registration form. An adult will need to stay at the center during play group.
