Mrs. Arlinda Nixon Gulley, 45, of Prescott, died Tuesday, September 20, 2005, at her home.

She was born on October 28, 1959, in Nevada County to Leon and Hazel L. Simpson Nixon. She was a former employee of Klipsch. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Prescott and a member of the Womens Ministry of Munns Chapel Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her father, Leon Nixon, and by one brother, James Nixon.

Her survivors include: her husband, Charles Edward Gulley of Prescott; one son, Charles Leon Gulley of Prescott; two daughters, Lencola Chablis Nixon and Ingrid Monce Gulley both of Prescott; her mother, Hazel Nixon of Prescott; four brothers, Thomas Leroy Nixon of El Centro, Calif., Donald Nixon of Prescott, Leon Nixon of Atlanta, Ga. and John Calvin Nixon of Prescott; six sisters, Mary Ann Railey and Sarah Johnson both of Prescott, Lucy Nixon of Vallejo, Calif., Wilma McNeil of Atlanta, Ga., Brenda Sloan and Iris Carter both of San Diego, Calif.; and one granddaughter, Latavia Monce Nixon of Prescott.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 24, 2005, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Prescott with Rev. Mickey Manning officiating. Burial was in DeAnn Cemetery in Prescott. Arrangements by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.

Family wake was Friday, September 23, 2005, from 6-7 p.m. at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.
