Flossie MartinPublished Wednesday, September 14, 2005 in the Nevada County PicayuneFlossie Marie Nolen Martin, died Sunday, September 4, 2005, at Medical Park Hospital in Hope. She was born to Homer and Effie Lamb Nolen on October 22, 1920. She was preceded in death by both her parents; her husband, Merlin C. (Billy) Martin in November 1990 and her son, Billy R. Martin in December 2004. Survivors include one brother, Romie R. Nolen of Kinsley, Kan.; one daughter-in-law, Judy Martin of Prescott; one grandson, Donald Jeffrey Martin and wife Mandy of Genoa; one granddaughter, Dr. Kristi Hawkins and husband, Dr. Jason Hawkins of Benton; and four great-grandchildren, Corey Alan, Abigael Elizabeth and Kagan Wade Martin all of Genoa and Jeffrey Lane Martin of Prescott. Services were held Wednesday, September 7, at 2 p.m. at the Shackelford Funeral Home in Prescott. Officiating the services were Bro. Tony Hamilton of the Prescott Church of Christ and Bro.
