The Southwest Arkansas District Fair starts September 28. Winners from the Nevada County Fair with first place or Best of Show items are eligible to enter. Entry information is available in the Extension office. You may call 887-2818 for more information.

Entries will be accepted between 10 and 3 p.m. on Sunday, September 26, and from 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Monday, September 27.

Take the time to participate and show the rest of the district how much talent there is in Nevada County.

NEVADA COUNTY FAIR

The Extension office is holding checks that weren't picked up at the close of the fair. A listing of checks available for pick up follows.

If your names is listed, please plan to pick up your check as soon as possible. Checks will not be mailed.

Checks being held belong to Lauren Avery, Todd Avery, Beverly Health Care, Crop of Queens, Kaylee Fincher, Morgan Hight, Jill Hubbard, Fernando Ingram, Meagan Martin, Luke MacNew, Maddision MacNew, Luke and Maddison MacNew, Lawanna Plyler, Prescott High School FFA, Prescott Housing Authority, Johnny Shope, Brandi White and Bonnie White.
