BodcawAline ClausPublished Wednesday, March 24, 1999 in the Nevada County Picayune According to the calendar, spring has sprung. There was a baby shower on Saturday night for Bret and Beth Dorman Thomas. There was a good turnout and a lot of gifts. Butch and Pat Wilbanks of Little Rock spent the day with her parents, J.D. and Marie Allen. John and Danielle Dorman from Cabot and the Herbert Dormans, from El Dorado, attended the shower for Bret and Beth. It was good to see Tommy Hamm around the community. Marie Tye hasn't been feeling very well. She thinks she has the flu. Sorry to report the death of Richard Miller's wife, Susie. Services were held in Idabel, Okla., with burial in Union Cemetery. Remember this family. It was good to have Bro. and Mrs. Mark Falkner with us on Sunday night. Several were out of church because of colds, flu or other ailments.
