Marvel Crayton

Sunset came for Marvel Crayton, 63, of Prescott when she passed from this life on Sunday, July 31, 2005.

Sunrise came for her on June 11, 1942. She was born to Sam Madison and Dorothy Mae Dockery Madison in Stamps.

She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Sonny Crayton; sons, Darryl Madison of Prescott, Patrick Johnson and Tifferd Johnson both of Dallas, Texas; daughters, Brenda Johnson of Balch Springs, Texas, Wanda Ross and Valerie Johnson both of Dallas; one sister, Leatrice Lemons of Dallas; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 6, 2005, at Sweet Home Baptist Church in Prescott. Burial was at Sweet Home Cemetery under the direction of Shackelford Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Friday, August 5, 2005, from 6-8 p.m. at Shackelford Funeral Home.
