Mildred White

Mildred Annette White, 77, of Prescott, died July 30, 2005, at a Little Rock hospital.

She was born on February 18, 1928, in Prescott to Garland and Addie Jones Dickinson. She lived most of her adult life in Prescott and was a 50 year member of the First Assembly of God Church of Prescott.

She was a retired bank teller and had worked at the Bank of Prescott for many years. Mildred loved her church, gospel singing, and most of all her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of more than 50 years, Woodrow "Tip" White.

Mildred is survived by her son, Marty White and wife, Rita of Little Rock; her daughter, Elaine Halliday and husband, Dickey of Gurdon; her sister, Phyllis Brents of Little Rock; her grandchildren Peyton and Bailey White, Kristi Gray, Britta and Austen Halliday and great-grandson, Garet Gray.

Funeral services were Tuesday, August 2, 2005, at 11 a.m. at the First Assembly of God Church in Prescott by Shackelford Funeral Home in Prescott.
