She was born September 9, 1922, in Rosston to Fred and Margaret Sutton Fore. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband John Mitchell; daughter, Linda McGrew; son-in-law, Hunter Roberts and sister, Elise Crank. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Betty Mitchell; one daughter, Nancy Roberts; step son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Carol Mitchell and son-in-law, Jerry McGrew; her grandchildren, Kiley McGrew, Shelly and Jay Irwin, Evan McGrew, Robin and Angiee Mitchell, Preedawan Watkins, Elizabeth and Jonathan Roberts; step-grandchildren, Kimberly Mislan, Heather Peterson and Scott, Brett and Toby Mitchell; three great-grandchildren; and brothers, Herb, Gene, Jerry and Gary Fore. She was a member of New Salem United Methodist Church. Visitation was from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, July 24, 2005, at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home with services at 10 a.m. Monday, July 25, 2005, at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dennis Horvath officiating. Burial was at Godwin Cemetery. The family met at 3910 Mountain Pine Road. Arrangements with Caruth-Hale Funeral Home. Guest register is at www.caruth-hale.com.
