Helen Marie Mitchell died July 22, 2005, at her residence.

She was born September 9, 1922, in Rosston to Fred and Margaret Sutton Fore.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband John Mitchell; daughter, Linda McGrew; son-in-law, Hunter Roberts and sister, Elise Crank.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Betty Mitchell; one daughter, Nancy Roberts; step son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Carol Mitchell and son-in-law, Jerry McGrew; her grandchildren, Kiley McGrew, Shelly and Jay Irwin, Evan McGrew, Robin and Angiee Mitchell, Preedawan Watkins, Elizabeth and Jonathan Roberts; step-grandchildren, Kimberly Mislan, Heather Peterson and Scott, Brett and Toby Mitchell; three great-grandchildren; and brothers, Herb, Gene, Jerry and Gary Fore.

She was a member of New Salem United Methodist Church.

Visitation was from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, July 24, 2005, at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home with services at 10 a.m. Monday, July 25, 2005, at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dennis Horvath officiating. Burial was at Godwin Cemetery.

The family met at 3910 Mountain Pine Road.
