Susie MorganPublished Wednesday, July 13, 2005 in the Nevada County PicayuneMrs. Susie Irene Hollomon Morgan, 85, of Prescott, died Sunday, July 3, 2005, at Hillcrest Care and Rehab in Prescott. She was born on October 27, 1919, in Hempstead County to Cliff and Etta Stingley Hollomon. She was a homemaker and former employee of Ledbetters and Prescott Manufacturing both of Prescott and of Martins Shoe Store of Hope. She sold shoes and clothing and worked in the pajama factory for years but loved helping others. She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald I. Morgan, Sr., who died in February 1994; by two brothers, J.V. and William Jack Holloman; and by two sisters, Olene Harris and Faye Johnson. Her survivors include, two sons, Gerald Irwin Morgan, Jr. of Haynesville, La. and James Edwin Morgan of Emmet; one daughter, Linda Sue Morgan Graham of Prescott; one brother, Al Hollomon of Sachse, Texas; one sister, Elizabeth Hollomon Roth of Texarkana, Texas; seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2005, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home Chapel in Prescott, with Mr. Tony Hamilton officiating. Burial followed in DeAnn Cemetery in Prescott. Arrangements by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott. Family received friends Monday, July 4, 2005, from 6-8 p.m. at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.
