Roy FairchildPublished Wednesday, May 18, 2005 in the Nevada County PicayuneRoy Alton Fairchild, 61, went to be with his Lord May 12, 2005. He was born in Camden and lived in Rison, McGehee and Bryant. He was of the Baptist faith, and a graduate of University of Arkansas, Monticello. Preceding him in death are his parents, Sidney and Frances Fairchild. Survivors include: his sister, Margaret Copeland and husband John of Virginia; uncle, Ervin Fairchild of Prescott; aunt, Lois McPherson of Little Rock and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services were 11 a.m. Monday at McGehee Cemetery, arrangements by Boyd Funeral Home in Lonoke. The family received friends from 2-4 Sunday at the funeral home.
