Mavis LoePublished Wednesday, May 18, 2005 in the Nevada County PicayuneMavis Marie Loe, 73, of Jefferson, Texas, died Thursday, May 5, 2005, at Good Shepherd Hospital in Longiew, Texas. She was born March 20, 1932, in Nevada County to Odis Daniell and Maggie Martin Daniell; was married to Orris D. Bit Loe on June 28, 1948. She was a homemaker, attended the Lone Oak Baptist Church at Jefferson, enjoyed painting and craft work. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Donald Ray Loe; two sisters, Clara Mae Carter and Laverne Howard; and a brother, Guy Daniell of Prescott. Survivors include: her husband, Orris D. Loe; one son, Jerry Loe of Tatum, Texas; a sister, Mary Laoice Ted Carter of Sherman, Texas; four grandsons and one granddaughter. Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 7, at Liberty Cemetery near Jefferson, with Rev. Ted White officiating. Arrangements were by Haggard-Heaster Funeral Home of Jefferson.
