Thomas DickersonPublished Wednesday, May 11, 2005 in the Gurdon TimesThomas Jewel Dickerson, 96, of North Little Rock, formerly of Gurdon, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2005. Jewel was a retired Carman inspector for Missouri Pacific Railroad. He was a member of Park View Baptist Church in North Little Rock, and a former member of First Baptist Church in Gurdon. Survivors include: a son, Tom Dickerson of Littleton, Colo., and a daughter, Norma Jean Hibbs of Alexandria, Va.; four grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Elbert Lee Dickerson. Funeral services were 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2005, at Park View Baptist Church, 900 Donovan Briley Blvd., North Little Rock. Graveside services were at 2 p.m., at the Center Ridge Cemetery in Gurdon. Family received friends from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, May 6, at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, North Little Rock (791-7400).
