Darrell Hasley

Darrell Sam Hasley, 78, of Arkadelphia, died Thursday, May 5, 2005, at the Baptist Medical Center.

He was born May 14, 1926, in Clark Co. The son of the late William Sam and Essie Hasley. He was owner and operator of several service stations in the Arkadelphia and Little Rock area, an employee at Reynolds Metal Co. for 30 years and served as State Representative for 12 years in the Arkansas General Assembly from 1967-1979.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Hasley.

Survivors include: one son, Steven Darrell Hasley of Arkadelphia; two daughters, Cheryl Lynn Eirons of New York City, N.W and Judy Cecil of Little Rock; grandchildren, Statler Darrell Hasley, Erin Ryan Hasley and Anna Marie Cecil; his friend and caregiver, Sue Hatley.

Funeral services were 2 p.m. Monday, May 9, 2005, in Ruggles-Wilcox Chapel with Rev. Robert Watson officiating. Interment was in the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation was from 3-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. The family would like to invite family and friends the invitation to speak and share any thoughts and or memories of Mr. Hasley during the service.
