Chris Honey

Mr. Christopher O. Chris Honey, 41, of Sherwood, formerly of Prescott, died Monday, May 2, 2005, at his home.

He was born February 4, 1964, in Prescott to Charles L. Chuck and Betty Sue Campbell Honey. He was a 1982 graduate of Prescott High School and 1986 graduate of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. He was self employed owner/operator of Arkansas Corporation Research Co. and a life long member of Central Baptist Church in Prescott.

He was preceded in death by his father and by one niece, Rachel Honey.

His survivors include his mother, Betty Sue Campbell Honey of Hot Springs, formerly of Prescott; one brother and sister-in-law, Marc Honey and Judith of Hot Springs; two nieces, Ashton Michelle Honey and Jordan Alexandra Allie Honey, both of Hot Springs; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral services were 2 p.m. Friday, May 6, 2005, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home Chapel in Prescott with Rev. Arlis East and Rev. Charles Loyd officiating. Burial followed in Laneburg Cemetery in Laneburg. Arrangements by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.

Pallbearers include: Mark Barbaree, Bobby Tullis, Bert Dickey, Matt Carmen, Toby Edwards, Blake McKinnon, his cousins, Johnny Campbell and Randy Hignight.

Family received friends Thursday, May 5, 2005, from 6-8 p.m. at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.
