Doris EllerPublished Wednesday, April 13, 2005 in the Nevada County PicayuneMrs. Doris Merrill Lynn Eller, 77, of Fairbanks, Alaska, formerly of Emmet, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2205, at a Fairbanks hospital. She was born January 1, 1928, in Goram, La., to Jepther Nathaniel and Gladys Porter Merrill. She was a homemaker. Her greatest passion in life was making quilts for all of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her father; by her two husbands, Jim Tom Lynn and Sam Eller; and by one son Larry Lynn. Her survivors include her mother, Gladys Mae Merrill of Fairbanks; one son, Tommy Lynn and Barbara of Skiatook, Okla.; three daughters, Nina Baker and Wayne of Emmet, Edith Shankles and Gerald and Linda Martin all of Fairbanks; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were 2 p.m. Sunday, April 10, 2005, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home Chapel in Hope with Rev. Eric Barbaree officiating. Burial was in Ayers Cemetery in Hope. Arrangements by Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope. Family received friends Saturday, April 9, 2005, from 6-8 p.m. at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope.
