Table Topper April 30Published Wednesday, April 13, 2005 in the Nevada County PicayuneSpring Extravaganza is the them for the annual Artesian Arts League Table Topper. The event will be held Saturday, April 30, starting at 11 a.m., with the luncheon starting at noon. The meal will include shaved turkey, ham and roast beef, pasta salad, green salad, rolls, dessert, tea and lemonade. The afternoon program will be a floral demonstration by Kelly Pruitt, AMF. She has been designing since 1986, is a FTD Master Florist, an Arkansas Master Florist and is working on an American Institute of Floral Design certificate. In 2004 Pruitt won the Arkansas Design Scholarship Competition and will be competing in the 2005 Arkansas Cup Design Competition. The League asks as many members as possible to participate in the Table Topper. Theres still time to sign up and sponsor a table. However, the Table Topper isnt open strictly to members of the arts league, but is open to anyone interested. There will be a $50 Peoples Choice Award presented to the winning table during the luncheon. This award is voted on by those attending the event. Tickets will be available soon at a cost of $10 each. There will only be advance tickets sold so it will be known how much food to prepare for the luncheon.
