Ramond Curtis

Ramond H. Curtis, 56, of Fayetteville, died on Saturday, March 26, 2005, at the VA Hospital in West Palm Beach, Florida.

He was born on August 6, 1948, the son of the late Luther and Florene Curtis of Gurdon.

He was a retired paint superintendent, enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and was an avid Arkansas Razorback fan. Ramond was a 1966 Gurdon High School graduate.

After graduation, he joined the United States Air Force and served in Vietnam. He later attended Henderson State University in Arkadelphia.

Survivors include: one sister, Wanda Dillard of West Palm Beach, Fla.; two sons, T.J. Curtis of Arkadelphia; Ramond Curtis Jr. of Fayetteville; two daughters, Amanda and Mary Ellen Curtis of Fayetteville and two grandchildren.

A memorial will be held at the Horne Funeral Home in Gurdon on Saturday, June 18, 2005.
