Rebecca HastingsPublished Wednesday, March 30, 2005 in the Gurdon TimesRebecca Hastings, 77, of Gurdon, went to join her Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 19, 2005, at her home. She was a member of the Blanchard Springs Baptist Church in Junction City. Survivors include: her husband of 58 years, Billy Hastings of Gurdon, one son, Don Hastings and wife, Mary, of Little Rock, two daughters, Glenda Yancey and husband Jackie of Cabot, Diane Parten and husband Ralph of Cuba, Alabama; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. Services were Tuesday, March 22, at 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Gurdon with the Rev. Jerry Evans and the Rev. Paul Sheets officiating.
