Jean NortonPublished Wednesday, March 23, 2005 in the Gurdon TimesBilllie Jean Norton, age 77, of New Boston, Texas, died Tuesday, March 15, 2005 at the Waterford in Texarkana. She was born April 26, 1927 in Clark County. She was a retired teller from the First National Bank in New Boston. She was a member of Tapp Memorial United Methodist Church of New Boston. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star, Fellowship Sunday School Class and United Methodist Women's Group. Survivors include: three sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy and Jeri Norton and Ricky and Janice Norto all of Texarkana, Tx. and Glenn and Connie Norton of Natalia, Tx.; one daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Ricky Webster of New Boston, Tx.; one sister and brother-in-law, Lynn and Cecil Warren of Little Rock; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren, one great, great grandchild and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were Friday, March 18, 2005 at 1 p.m. at the Bates-Rolf Chapel in New Boston, Tx. Interment was at Center Ridge Cemetery in Gurdon, with Dr. David Blase officiating. Under the direction of Bates-Rolf Funeral Home in New Boston, Tx. Visitation was Thursday, March 17, 2005 from 5-7 p.m. Memorials may be made to Tapp Memorial United Methodist Building Fund: P.O.
