Leamons, Pennington To Wed May 8Published Wednesday, March 24, 1999 in the Gurdon TimesDuane and Grace Ann Leamons of Gurdon are proud to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Autumn DeLynn, to Mitchell M. Pennington. Mr. Pennington is the son of Charles and Irene Pennington of Gurdon. Grandparents of the bride-elect are Mrs. Hazel Leamons of Gurdon and the late C.J. Leamons, Mr. Thomas McKinnon of Prescott, and Herbie and Maude Hinton also of Prescott. Miss Leamons is a 1996 graduate of Gurdon High School and a 1998 graduate of the University of Arkansas Community College at Hope with an associate degree in business. She is currently employed by First State Bank of Gurdon. Grandparents of the prospective groom are the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Pennington of Monticello and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Knobloch of Monticello. He is a 1991 graduate of Gurdon High School and a graduate of Tulsa Welding School. Mitch is currently employed by International Paper Company of Gurdon. The couple will wed at an outdoor ceremony May 8 at 4:00 p.m. at the Leamons' river house on the banks of the Ouachita River. All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
