Norris Rateliff

Mr. C. Norris Rateliff, 74, of Hope, died Wednesday, March 9, 2005, in Medical Park Hospital in Hope.

He was born November 18, 1930, in Patmos to Ocie Otto Judson Rateliff and Sara Hunt Rateliff.

He was a retired Fire Plow Operator with the Arkansas Forestry Commission. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Hope, a Mason of Whitfield Masonic Lodge #239 of Hope and an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, T.C. Rateliff.

His survivors include: four sons, Charles Rateliff and Brenda of Bentonville, Ronnie Richard Rateliff and Sherry in Bentonville, Danny Rateliff and Leslie of Texarkana, Tex. an Judson Rateliff of Hope; one daughter, Sharan Hicks and Russell of Hope; two brothers, Joe Rateliff and Sandy of Hope and Fred Rateliff of Texarkana, Tex.; a special friend, Cathy Fincher of Hope; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Graveside services were 11 a.m. Saturday, March 12, 2005, at New Hope Cemetery in Patmos with Rev. Dewey Rhodes officiating. Burial followed.

Arrangements by Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope.

Family received friends Friday, March 11, 2005, from 6-8 p.m. at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope.
