Walter MayPublished Wednesday, March 16, 2005 in the Nevada County PicayuneWalter "Doc" May, Jr., 78,of Arkadelphia, died March 8, 2005, at his home. He was born May 22, 1926, in Clark Co., the son of the late OdomWalter and Faye Arnold May. He was retired owner of M&M Fence Co. and after retirement he worked part-time for AllCare Pharmacy. He was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Betty McElhannon May; one son, Jim May of Conway; one daughter, Kathy Cox of Prescott; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services were 2 p.m. Friday, March 11, 2005, in Ruggles-Wilcox Chapel with Rev. Charles Hargett officiating. Interment were in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Mt. Zion Baptist Church or American Cancer Society.
