Lillian Davis

Lillian P. Campbell Clark Davis, 83, of Emmet, died Thursday, March 3, 2005, at the Medical Park Hospital in Hope.

She was born January 11, 1922, in Lewisville.

Mrs. Davis was a member of the Piney Grove Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who spent her life working hard in and outside of the home to support her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Willis Clark, her parents, four brothers, and four sisters.

She is survived by six sons: George Clark of Pittsburg, Tex., Jerry Clark of Sheridan, Roy Clark of Hope, Jim Clark of Nashville, Tenn., Coy Clark of Emmet and Tommy Davis of Bodcaw; six daughters, Martha Raines and Shirley Martin both of Cale, Judy Thompson of Stamps, Joy Humphres of Emmet, Peggy Martin of Prescott, and Ethel Goodner of Cale; 39 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and several great-great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 6, 2005, at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps with Rev. Patrick Fulmer officiating with burial in Union Cemetery at Bodcaw. Under the direction of Smith Funeral Home in Stamps.

Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Smith Funeral Home in Stamps.
