Mary Wicker

Mrs. Mary Lucille Wicker, 82, of Prescott, died Thursday, March 3, 2005, at her home.

She was born on April 4, 1922, in Laneburg to John and Lydia McCullough Hastings. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Laneburg United Pentecostal Church in Laneburg.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Harlon G. Wicker; one daughter, Bobbie Butcher; two grandsons; one granddaughter; and two great-grandsons.

Survivors include: four sons, Preston "Bo" Wicker and Jimmy Lee Wicker both of Prescott, Harlon Wicker, Jr. of Hope and David M. Wicker of Camden; two daughters, Mary Johnson of Laneburg and Virginia Spell of Laneburg; one brother, John Hastings of Prescott; one sister, Sue E. Nelson of Gurdon; 23 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were 2 p.m. Sunday, March 6, 2005, at Laneburg United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Bob Fruin and Rev. Wilbur Wesson officiating. Burial followed in Caney Cemetery in Caney. Arrangements by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.

Family received friends Saturday, March 5, 2005, from 6-8 p.m. at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home.
