John Fontana

John Fontana, 78, of Prescott, passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2005.

He was a retired businessman and an avid fisherman. He was also known as the firework man and trash man.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Schmelzer-Fontana (Hon); children, Debra Williams and husband Glen Williams of Kemah, Texas, Mike and wife Becky Williams of Roselle, Ill., LaDonna Stueart of Prescott, LaShelle Hamilton of Green Cove Springs, Fla., LaToya Hamilton of Prescott, and Benjamin "Bo" and wife Denese Hamilton of Lithonia, Ga.; much loved grandchildren, Ross Williams, Joseph, Luther and Daloris Stueart, Alex Hamilton (Little guy), Na Shea Goetzendanner, LaKeisha, Jaleesa and Rontarious Hamilton, Mitch, Frank, Nick and Little Joe Fontana. Also leaves to cherish his memory numerous beloved in-laws, nieces, nephews, and many other family members and friends.

Memorial services were at Cothran Chapel CME Church, 422 Greenlawn St. Prescott, on Friday, February 18, 2005 at 11 a.m.
