Margaret SmithPublished Wednesday, February 16, 2005 in the Nevada County PicayuneMrs. Margaret Alice "Maggie" Smith, 101, of Prescott, died Wednesday, February 9, 2005, at Medical Park Hospital in Hope. She was born February 7, 1904, in Nevada County to James and Cordelia Deherice Billingsley. She was a former employee of Greyhound Bus Co. and receptionist for several hotel/motels and traveled all over. She was a lifetime member of Eastern Star of the Prescott/Arkadelphia Chapter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Yancey Herbert Smith. Her survivor include: three nieces, Eva Lou Smith Stanley of Prescott, Juanima Smith of Bridegport, Tex., and Cordelia Klever of Massillion, Ohio; one nephew, James D. Smith of Prescott; special friends, Bea Chase and family of Abilene, Tex. and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral services were 2 p.m. Saturday, February 12, 2005, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home Chapel in Prescott with Rev. Neal Ridling officiating. Burial followed in DeAnn Cemetery in Prescott. Arrangements by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott. Family received friends Friday, February 11, 2005, from 6-8 p.m. at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.
