James C. TraylorPublished Wednesday, March 24, 1999 in the Gurdon TimesJames C. Traylor, 77, of Cheyenne died March 13, 1999, at Life Care Center. Mr. Traylor was born February 9, 1923, in Bernice, La. He was a truck driver employed by Morandin Concrete. Mr. Traylor was affiliated with the Church of Christ. He had been a member of BPOE Elks. He is survived by a brother, Floyd Traylor of Gurdon; three sisters, Lizzie Daniels and Elgee Gee, both of Milwaukee, Wis., and Mary Gulley of Chidester; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Traylor; his father, Henry D. Traylor; sisters, Nannie Mae Gill and Lue Vader Ritchie; and brothers, Henry Dayton Traylor, Frank Traylor, Amous Traylor and Jimmy Traylor. Graveside services were held at Lakeview Cemetery with the Revs. Samuel Reid and Ernest Fitzhugh officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Schrader Funeral Home.
