Doyle Haynie

Doyle B. Haynie, 72, of Gurdon, died on Wednesday, Feb. 2.

He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include: his wife, Ruby Jean Challette Haynie of Gurdon; two sons, Bruce and wife Debbie Loy Haynie of Caddo Valley, and Kenny Haynie of Gurdon; three sisters, Barbara Jean Morgan of North Little Rock, Billie Jean Webb of Little Rock, and Shirley Francis of Gurdon; six grandchildren, Jennifer Hawthorn, Shane Gunnerson, Justin Haynie, Melia Burnside, Tiffany Haynie and Patrick Haynie. Seven great-grandchildren also survive.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Doyle Haynie; his mother, Lona Howell Haynie; a son, Randy Haynie, and two sisters; Sarah Haynie and Sue Haynie.

A special thanks to the employees of Hospice.

Funeral services were scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 5, 2005, at the New Caney Baptist Church, with the Rev. James R. Raines and the Rev. Ernie Sorrels officiating.

Burial was scheduled in Rose Hedge Cemetery, by Horne Funeral Home in Gurdon.
