Mattie RobertsonPublished Wednesday, February 2, 2005 in the Gurdon TimesMattie Laverne Robertson, 73, of Chidester, died on Wednesday, Jan. 26. She was a utility worker for Arkla Gas Co., a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include: three sons, Jack Robertson Jr. of Gurdon, Randy Robertson of Hampton, and Richard Robertson of Chidester; one daughter, Janis Gregory of Little Rock; one sister, Floy Jean Brown, of Texarkana; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Visitation was set from 6-8 p.m., Friday, Jan. 28, at Horne Funeral Home in Gurdon. Services were scheduled for 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 29, at the Horne Chapel with Bro. Rick Pyron officiating.
