Jessie Sandifer

Mrs. Jessie Charles Sandifer, 86, of Prescott died January 12, 2005, in a Texarkana Hospital.

She was born November 16, 1918, in Laneburg. She was a member of Mount Cana Baptist Church.

Survivors include: two daughters, Ada Lee Sandifer Albert of Marvell, and Linda Faye Sandifer Logan of St. Paul, Minn.; four sons, John David Sandifer, Jr. and Albert Sandifer both of St. Paul, Minn., Chester Ray Sandifer of Wichita, Kan., and Tyree Sandifer of Prescott; 18 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Pauline Banks of Seattle, Wash. and Bessie Maloney of Wichita, Kan.; two brothers, Earnest and Dexter Charles of Seattle, Wash.

Services were 11 a.m. Saturday, January 22, 2005, at Mount Cana Baptist Church, Route 2, Prescott, with Rev. Fred Walters officiating.

Interment was at Sweet Home Cemetery in Prescott. Visitation was 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at the funeral home.
