Elgy MarksPublished Wednesday, January 19, 2005 in the Gurdon TimesElgy H. Marks, 93, of Gurdon, died on Sunday, Jan. 9, 2005. He was a cattle rancher and attended the Assembly of God Church. Survivors include: two sons; Avon Marks of Gurdon and Clifford Marks of Las Vegas, Nevada; one daughter, Vada Smithpeters of Gurdon; one brother, Victor Marks of Hot Springs; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mr. Marks was preceded in death by a daughter, Edna Patridge. Graveside services were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 11, at Deceipher Cemetery by the Horne Funeral Home in Gurdon.
