Frances CrainPublished Wednesday, January 19, 2005 in the Gurdon TimesFrances E. Crain died Monday at the age of 90. She was the widow of Ralph Crain, a retired math teacher at Gurdon Public Schools, a graduate of Henderson State Teachers College, now Henderson University in Arkadelphia and held a masters degree in mathematics from the University of Arkansas. Survivors include: two sons; Frank Crain and wife, Sara, of Arkadelphia; Bobby Crain and wife, Carla, of Gurdon; one brother, Herman Estes of Little Rock; two grandchildren, a nephew, Dwight Estes, and many great nieces and nephews. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, Jan. 11, at 3 p.m. in the Center Ridge Cemetery by Horne Funeral Home of Gurdon. Search | Nevada County Picayune by date | Gurdon Times by date |
