Lonnie Buie, Sr.Published Wednesday, November 17, 2004 in the Nevada County PicayuneMr. Lonnie L. Buie, Sr., 76, of Prescott, died Thursday, November 11, 2004, at Medical Park Hospital in Hope. He was born June 8, 1928, in Boughton to Charles Edward, Sr. and Ruby Witherspoon Buie. He was a retired electrician. He was a member and former deacon of the Church of Christ in Prescott. He was an Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Ann Buie, who died in October 2003; and by two brothers, Thomas and Charles Edward Buie, Jr. Survivors include: one son, Lonnie Buie, Jr. and Vicki of Maumelle; one daughter, Vickie Barwick and Neil of Hope; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services were 2 p.m. Saturday, November 13, 2004, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home Chapel in Prescott, with Mr. Larry Culbreath and Mr. Lynn Vanderveer officiating. Arrangements by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott. Family received friends Friday, November 12, 2004, from 6-8 p.m. at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home of Prescott.
