The Junior Go-Devils took the field Thursday night at home and shut-out Fouke, 30-0.

The sound victory puts the Junior Go-Devils 3-3 overall for the season and 3-0 in the conference. Head Coach Hank Lewis said the team plays away on Thursday, Oct. 14, at Spring Hill. The following week, if all goes well, the Junior Go-Devils will play in the conference playoff game.

"I am not sure where the playoff will be played," Coach Lewis said. "But I will worry about that more if we win this next week."

Of this past Thursday against Fouke, Lewis said the touchdowns were scored by OBryan Bell, with three; Marcus Williams with one, and Princeton McPeak, one.

Lewis praised K.B. Keeling for good open field tackling and for running back an interception. He said the offensive line hung tough. They are: Brian Duncan, Pierce Lowery, and Marcus Williams.

The coach said tacklers were Kendall Harper and Donte Stephens, with tight ends being Jeff Henry and Taurean Gulley.

"They all did an outstanding job blocking for our backs," Coach Lewis said. "Justin Smillie played hard and good on defense. He is an eighth grader and did a lot in the game."
