Troy E. StephensPublished Wednesday, March 31, 1999 in the Gurdon TimesTroy E. Stephens, 74, of Gurdon died March 22, 1999. Mr. Stephens was a member of Beirne Baptist Church. He was retired from Anthony Lumber Company in Beirne as mill supervisor. Survivors include his wife, Barbara J. Stephens of Gurdon; a son, Jerry Woodell of Killeen, Texas; a sister, Irene Moseley of Gurdon; two step-children, Ronald Deaton of Gurdon and Pam White of Hot Springs; and four grandchildren. Graveside services were held at Easley Cemetery by Horne Funeral Home of Gurdon on March 24. Pallbearers were Bob McGalliard, Byron Read, Garland Anthony, Cotton Paul Cox, Bobby Wells and James Franklin. Honorary pallbearers were John Jackson, John Ed Anthony and Rick Frizzell.
