Travis Mitchell Jr.

Travis Ray "Bubba" Mitchell, Jr., of Texarkana, Texas, died September 23, 2004, from injuries received in an automobile accident.

Mr. Mitchell was born May 29, 1971 in Paris, Texas.

Travis was a graduate from Arkansas High School June 8, 1989. He was employed at Bed Bath and Beyond in Texarkana, Texas.

Mr. Mitchell was a loving son, brother, wonderful uncle, and a kind, gentle, and generous man, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William Travis Mitchell and Ms. Nelly G. Mitchell; maternal grandparents, W.L. Maxie and Jewel Maxie; and one sister, Janice Louise Landes.

Survivors include his parents, Travis and Barbara Mitchell of Lewisville; mother Donna Bernier of Texarkana; five sisters, Shannon Mitchell of Lewisville, Sarah Ramos of Prescott, Ginger Lopez of Texarkana, Texas, Kimberly Mitchell of Texarkana, Ark. and Heather Rodriques of Hope; seven nieces and nephews, Aaron Elkins, Alejandra Ramos, Ashley Elkins, Tray Mitchell, Lupe Ramos, Josh Mitchell, and BreAnna Rodriques.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 2, 2004, at East Memorial Chapel, Moores Lane with Travis Ray "Bubba" Mitchell's great uncle, Rev. Marvin Mitchell officiating. Services were under the direction of East Funeral Home, Moores Lane, Texarkana, Ark.
