Shelia MortonPublished Wednesday, September 1, 2004 in the Gurdon TimesShelia A. Morton, 58, of Everett, Washington, died August 20, 2004. Born September 26, 1945, in Hot Springs. Shelia was a loving mother, daughter, and wife who worked most of her adult life as an RN. She graduated from Henderson State University with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Shelia was the only daughter of Juanita Smith and the late Leroy Smith of Lubbock, Texas. She is survived by her husband of 12 years, Robert Morton; her daughter, Tamera Blue and her son-in-law Brian Warren of Tustin, California; her daughter, Trinity Blue of Bellevue, Washington; and her son Jason Blue and his wife Julie from Burien, Washington. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2004, at Center Point Baptist Church, 33 Center Point Road, Gurdon, 71743 at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association or Parkinson's Foundation in Shelia's name.
