John Adams, Jr.Published Wednesday, August 18, 2004 in the Nevada County PicayuneJohn T. Adams, Jr., 95, of Imboden, passed away, Sunday, August 1, 2004, at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital following a short illness. Born May 10, 1909, in Prescott, son of John T. and Mary Eula Blakley Adams, Sr. Mr. Adams was a retired farmer and a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church at Annieville. Mr. Adams was united in marriage to Hazel Marie Miller November 5, 1942, who preceded him in death February 20, 1997. Mr. Adams was also preceded in death by three brothers, Alris Adams, Sam Adams and Lillard Adams. Mr. Adams is survived by a brother, Tillman Adams of Ft. Smith; one sister, Marie White; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Graveside services were 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 4, 2004, with Bro. Jerry Clements officiating. Interment at Hope Cemetery. Pallbearers Tom Marbry, Lavon Young, James Adams, Jerry Foley, Marvin Burns, and Bob Tomlinson. Services entrusted to Bryan Funeral Home.
