Higdon, Daniels Set May 22 Wedding

Billy Don and Carla Higdon of Waldo announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Sunny Marrie, to Jack Edward Daniels, son of Tammy Daniels of Bodcaw and the late Jim Daniels.

The wedding will be held at 2 p.m. on May 22 at Union Baptist Church in Bodcaw. A reception will follow.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Levell and Zelma Higdon of McNeil and the late Carl and Norlene Temple of Lewisville.

She is a 1997 graduate of Magnolia High School and is attending Southern Arkansas University, majoring in agriculture business. She is employed as a receptionist for Dr. Epperson.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Norris Daniels of Bodcaw and the late I.J. Daniels and Edward Namenek of Warren and the late Marie Namenek.

He is a 1988 graduate of Hope High School, a 1991 graduate of Red River Vo-Tech with a diesel mechanics certificate and a 1997 graduate of SAU with a bachelor's degree in music education.

He is self-employed and operates Miracle Farms, where he produces Tifton 85 and coastal Bermuda hay. He is a musician, vocalist and manager of the gospel group known as the Ambassadors.

No local invitations will be sent. All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
