Michael Gauntt

Mr. Michael Shawn Gauntt, 31, of Hope, died Friday, July 16, 2004, at Medical Park Hospital in Hope.

He was born September 30, 1972, in Hope to Michael John and Judy Lane Hart Gauntt. He was a mechanic and a rodeo bullfighter.

He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Gauntt, who died in 1984, and by one brother, Josh Gauntt who died in 1994.

His survivors include: two sons, Dustin Gauntt of Hope and Seth Gaunt of Texarkana; his mother, Judy Gauntt Hammock and Gerald of Hope; one sister, Shelley Keith and Mark of Hope; his paternal grandmother, Ardelia Gauntt of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; his maternal grandmother, Sue Hart of Rosston; his maternal great-grandmother, Elsie Williams of Rosston and several aunts and uncles.

Funeral services were 10 a.m. Monday, July 19, 2004, at Rosston First Baptist Church with Rev. William Tyler and Rev. Greg White officiating. Burial followed in Rosston Cemetery in Rosston. Arrangements by Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope
