Mrs. Jessie Fern Milner Head McKinnon, 82, of Texas City, Texas (formerly of Magnolia), died Sunday, July 11, 2004, in Ashton Parke Care Center in Texas City.

She was born on December 19, 1921, in Hempstead County to Edward Theophilus and Myrtle Clauselle Bruner Milner. She was a Nursery and Food Service Worker.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Earl Head and her second husband, Coy R. McKinnon; by one daughter, Loyce Merle Head; two brothers, Joyce Wilton Milner and Leighton Carman and two step-sons, Ardell McKinnon and Coy McKinnon, Jr.

Her survivors include: one son, John Calvin Head and Wanda of Shreveport, La.; one daughter, Sherlyn Jean McKinnon Dyda and William of Santa Fe, Texas; one brother, Joseph J. Milner of Sarasota, Fla.; one sister, Jewell Rose Milner of Hawthorne, Nev.; and 16 grandchildren and numerous greats and great-greats; and one step-daughter, Maurine Barton and Jimmy of Galveston, Texas.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 14, 2004, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home Chapel in Prescott, with Rev. Barry Nall officiating. Burial to follow in Sweet Home Cemetery in Blevins. Arrangements by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.

Family received friends Tuesday, July 13, 2004, from 6-8 p.m. at Brazzel/Cornish.
