Peggy RobersonPublished Wednesday, May 5, 2004 in the Gurdon TimesARKADELPHIA Peggy Louise Saunders Roberson, 77, of Arkadelphia died Tuesday, April 27, 2004, at her home. She was born Oct. 18, 1926, in Gurdon, daughter of the late William D. and Rosa Maude Meyers Saunders. She was a homemaker, volunteer for the Ladies Hospital Auxiliary and a member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by one brother, Robert R. Saunders. Survivors include: her husband, Paul Roberson; one daughter, Karen and her husband, Alan Phillips, of Arkadelphia; one brother, W.H. Saunders of Colmesneil, Texas; and one grandson, Michael Paul Phillips of Little Rock. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 29, 2004, in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens with Dr. Tom Martin officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home.
