Minnie AustinPublished Wednesday, April 28, 2004 in the Nevada County PicayuneMinnie Ola Draper Austin, 103, of Pearland, Texas, formerly of Prescott, died Tuesday, April 20, 2004, in Pearland, Texas. Mrs. Austin was born on September 15, 1900, in Atlanta, Texas. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Frank Austin. Survivors include three daughters, Margaret Holloman of Little Rock; Grace Riley of Pearland, Texas and Virginia Reed of Williamsburg, W. Va.; one sister, Mamie Miller of Longview, Texas; eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Graveside services were held Saturday, April 24, 2004, in the DeAnn Cemetery with Mr. Howard Horton officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home of Prescott.
