Dean HughesPublished Wednesday, April 28, 2004 in the Nevada County PicayuneDean Hughes, 60, of Prescott, died Tuesday, April 20, 2004, at Medical Park Hospital. Mr. Hughes was born February 27, 1944, in Clark County to William Hardy and Lillie Beard Hughes. He was an employee of Meyers Baker of Hope. He was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his parents and by one brother, Leonard Wayne Hughes. Survivors include his wife, Glenda Martindale Hughes of Prescott; one daughter, Carol Ann Hughes of Prescott; two brothers, William H. Hughes of Michigan and Jerry Hughes of Hope; four sisters, Mary Ida Mollette of Texarkana, Verna Mae Allen of Hope, Janie Capps of DeWitt and Linda Hughes of Texarkana; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Thursday, April 22, 2004, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home Chapel in Prescott.
