Last week's news:

There are still several sick people who need our prayers.

Ruth Vinson is doing fair after her stay in the hospital.

Paul Broussard had to be taken back to the hospital in Arkadelphia. He had dehydrated, but is doing much better, thanks to prayers.

Marva Baldwin had surgery in St. Joseph Hospital in Hot Springs on Wednesday. She is home and doing better.

Emogene Coburn, who is Dail Evans' sister, of Pine Bluff is having a gioplasty surgery on Monday. Remember these people when you pray.

Sympathy to the family of Clara Parrish of Hope. She passed away this week. The funeral will be Monday. I don't know her married name, but I have known her all my life.

Roscoe and I went to Texarkana on Tuesday and did some work in grandson Marty's yard.

Max and Ruth Hill of Dallas and two of their grandchildren, Bubba and Stephanie, were our supper guests on Wednesday.

Sue Dixon and I visited Ruth Vinson a while on Thursday afternoon.

Dail and Marjorie Evans attended the birthday party honoring Maxine Brown of Corinth on Saturday afternoon at Corinth Church. It was her 80th birthday. Among others attending were Dorothy Cassidy Hamilton of Emmet. She and Maxine were best pals when they were growing up.

The Max Hills, grandchildren and Roscoe and I had supper at Little B's in Magnolia on Friday. This was our first time to eat there and the food was great. The Hills returned to Dallas on Saturday morning after spending the week in Rosston.

Tommie Lou Jarvis left Rosston on Sunday morning on the Amtrak to go to Houston to her daughter's. She has a doctor's appointment next week.

Virginia Dillard got a good report this week on a biopsy, thanks to answered prayers. There have been three wrecks in and near Rosston this week. Everyone needs to slow down.

Ellen Wallace had as guests on Friday night the girls in her GMA class. They report a good time. The girls were Amy Morman, Misti Gibson and Jessie Potts.

Roscoe and I had supper at Catfish King in Hope on Saturday night and visited Clifford and Jane Cox afterward for a while.

Guests in church Sunday were four cousins of Bro. Petie's from Corinth Church and I'm sure others I didn't see. We always welcome visitors and are happy to have them.
