Mildred Lusk

Mrs. Mildred Bratcher Graham Lusk, 71, of Texarkana, Ark., formerly of Prescott, died Saturday, April 10, 2004, at Wadley Regional Medical Center, Texarkana, Tex.

She was born June 6, 1932, in Prescott to Cleo and Ada Alice Carroll Vandiver.

She was a caregiver for disabled adults and loved the people she cared for. She was a Baptist. She was an avid flower gardener and reader. She loved her family, friends, NASCAR racing and country music.

She was preceded in death by two loving husbands, Coy Graham and George Lusk; by her parents, by one beloved son, Rusty Bratcher; by one brother, H.C. "Bub' Vandiver; and by two sisters, Gladys Montgomery and Margaret Matlock.

Her survivors include: one loving son, Mike Bratcher and Carole of North Little Rock; three grandchildren, Cuke Douglass and Cindi of Fouke, Dylan Murphy of Conway, and Casey Williams of Santa Maria, Calif.; four great-grandchildren, Cody Douglass, Cami Williams, Clint Williams III, and Haydien Bryant; wonderful neighbors and friends, Flip and Janie Wilson and Howard and Debbie Arterbury of Texarkana.

Funeral services were 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 13, 2004, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home Chapel in Prescott, with Rev. Jerry Westmoreland officiating. Cremation arrangements by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.

Family received friends Monday, April 12, 2004, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
